hey, everybody. Here is a the link to a temporary guestbook. We are trying to fix the old one.
Temporary guestbook"

Jeremiah:

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to say "Hi" from Rosarito!

Remember this week: The God of this City is calling you. Are you going to answer?

Touch someone's life this week, serve somebody, give up your comfort for someone else.

Bring somebody with you to Remnant this Sunday.

I am also a non-lemon iced tea drinker, so Amen! Amen! Amen! Brother Godsey! I stand with you and my thought is, how clean is that stinkin' slice of lemon anyway? I always get frustrated and then i don't want to ask for another one because by the time i get my tea i am quite thirsty so then i just have to plead the blood of Jesus over my tea and drink it anyway! Just can't seem to win! Oh well, have a great day, and i enjoy your column. GOD BLESS YOU.

Jerry :
Suede, I want you to lift your right hand. Now bring it down sharply on your left hand and say, "Bad Suede." Of course you are invted.
Would I be part of a Bible Study that wouldn't include the lovely and talented Suede? I think not.
Get your Bible and your bad self down there next week...

Jeremiah :
Suede, I think you should come to Anazao on Tuesdays and cheer us on. (oh, and sit on Amara)

Hello every body,

I was talking to my mother-in-law today and she told me that they found a tumor on one of Luis' nieces.
Her name is Victoria Sanchez, she's a 6 year old little girl.
What happened is that they noticed that she a small lump by the side of her neck when she was a baby, so they took her to the Dr. and he said that they should keep an eye on it but it never bothered her until a couple of weeks ago that she said that it was hurting her.

They went to the specialist and he ordered all kinds of tests to see what was going on and they found out that it
was growing.
After an ultrasound and some CT scans they noticed that it had grown considerably within 4 days, so now they are waiting for her to have a biopsy of the tumor, and besides they found a lot of little tumors around the big one that they didn't know she had.

I'm asking you from the bottom of my heart to please pray for her and her family, we know that God does great things thru prayer.

Thanks,
God bless you,
Maria.

Debi :
We'll be praying.

Pawlina :
I will definitly be praying for your family and the little girl, God truly does do great things through prayer. We've seen in multiple times! Let me know if you need anything

Jeremiah :
We're all praying, Maria. Have faith---God answers prayer.

hola todos!...(i really gotta stop thinking in spanish!) i wanted to see what everyone(not just the pastors) thought about the way we "worship,or praise" through music. As i read through the Bible everytime people praised they were shouting, and dancing, and jumping, and kneeling, and crying out, just full of joy! They would express their hearts not caring what others thought! Is this the "right" way to worship? Is there a wrong way to worship?...Lets hear what you think!...And lets get more topics going here!...im tired of coming on here and only reading about "enhancing this or signing up for that" ORALE!...LO DOYERS!

Maria :
ORALE!... Veeector, I mean Hi Veeector.
Well, I think that you should worship any way the music makes you feel. For me, I feel a nice warm feeling that sometimes makes me cry, that's why I wear my waterproof mascara every time I go to Church, just in case. :)

Michelle :
Thinking in spanish must be a twist or at least for me it would be...as for worship I love it you can totally feel the spirit of God...I like worship that convicts my spirit as well as lifts my spirit...Our church Rocks and the holy spirit is moving!!Thank you Jesus..

Suede(the cheerleader) :
hey everyone, well i just want to say idk if there is a "right" way to worship, but to get that feeling of wanting to jump up and down and yell for joy that god has given us has come to me, but i sometimes fell that it is "not appropriet" at our church not cuz i think ppl would look at me wierd but, just cuz i know no one eles does it. oh and i just want to say/ask: Why don't we, we yell and scream/cheer at the top of our lungs for our fav. football teams and whatnot but when it comes to christ we get timmied, well at least i do. i say we change that and start praising god the way he should be praised, with everything in us.

oh yeah and lets start with the clapping, come on church we've got to get that part down.
love ya all.

Chelle :
Suede,
I totally agree..I know I often want to get on my knees right at the feet of Jesus but sometimes something holds me back to..I try not to let it though..I believe that as a people we can't be scared of what people will think or feel about where the holy spirit is leading us...

I don't know how to start to write this, but this last Sunday the water works just started flowing again, but this time it was because sometimes I get overwhelmed to feel God's greatness.
This time they were tears of happiness.
It feels great to be blessed.

Thanks to the Band for playing such great songs that just move me, and
thanks Pawlina, you're great.

Have a great week everybody.

P.S.
By the way, what's the name of our band??

Jerry :
They used to be called "Veector and the Knuckleheads" but changed it to "Rattling Sound."
I made the first part up!
We are really blessed to have this great band play for us each week. It's not just their talent, it is their spirit. Talent without the heart of a worshipper is nothing.

Veeector :
"Rattling Sound" sounds like some redneckahillbilly southern rock band that would headline a show at cocopah casino in yuma!...just call us the "Remnant worship band"

Maria. :
Maybe it should be called, "Bonita Esli AND the Knuckleheads"

Esli :
I like the last one!!!

What a great Sunday! We had fifteen kids this morning! I can remember when two was a lot! Two kids accepted Christ this morning. Praise God!
Jeremiah's message on prayer was great, and I am so revved up to preach next Sunday that I have been practicing on my dogs. I'm not sure, but Blitz may be close to making a decision... HA!
Keep up the good work, folks. And remember to praise God this week, using the points Jeremiah gave you. Good stuff is coming...

I've enjoyed your services and messages for the past few months. Hang n there, God is changing (through both of you)the community of imperial.
Peace!

Jerry :
Thanks for the kind words. I will say though, you ain't seen nothin' yet!
I am so excited about this new series on prayer. As we band together and pray for our church and our community you will see amazing things!

Jeremiah :
True dat!! Our prayer is that God continues to grow Remnant and that everyone embraces the vision; to live out God's message of love in front of a city full of people that are in search of significance and acceptance.

Thanks to everyone who worked so hard on the BBQ today. Edward cooked his fingers to the bone! Good job to everyone. We made an impact on one family that was there, and if that is all that comes of it, the day was worth it. Well, that and the food!

Hey Folks!

Make sure you invite someone to Remnant on June 15, especially Dads! They will get a special gift for Father's Day, and of course enjoy some good food! The BBQ is going to be da bomb!
(Eager Park following the service)

Get the word out!!

Jerry :
Um, Jeremiah, let's avoid using the words BBQ and bomb in the same sentence. If you had ever been to one of my cookouts you would know why I am kind of touchy. The smell of scorched eyebrows still brings tears to my eyes...

Jeremiah :
Hey, we might not even have to light the coals on the 15th. The carne asada might spontaneously combust in our summer temperature! Pray for a cool spell!

Maria. :
I'll take some of my famous spanish rice and some cupcakes.

Maria :
Well, actually is Mexican rice.

Jerry :
Mexican rice, Spanish rice, whatever you call it! I am looking forward to tasting it!

Debi :
Spanish rice sounds yummy!!!!

Greetings to everyone I'm a Newbie Here :)
After a disappointing mothers day I said to myself I want to ask everyone
which fathers day gift would you recommend?
I totally forgot to get my mom a gift on mothers day and now i feel like I need to make it up to both of them :)
I did come across this website they sell these cool looking designers watches I was thinking of grabbing my mom and dad one.
let me know what you guys think?

Cheers!
Angie :)

Maria. :
Hi Angie,
If you have any siblings, I would recomend getting everybody together and taking a picture of the whole family( kids, grandkids, great-grandkids)at your favorite place or at a photograph studio.
Hope this helps,
Maria.

Angie :
Thanks Maria!
That sounds like a much better idea!

Hey Friends,
Sunday morning we were given a number of urgent prayer requests that need special attention. Please be praying this week for: Fernando Guzman (Martha Villegas' brother, diagnosed with leukemia); Kathy Martinez (Mario's wife), suffering with very painful back problems; and Hilda Bueno (Irma Rodriguez' best friend), just diagnosed with cancer.
Remember what we've learned from our series on James---Pray with confidence in a God who hears and answers prayer!
